Negotiations Results
In May 2006 members of WEA approved a tentative agreement with the district.

The key components include:

	2% salary increase for all classified and licensed employees.
	Steps and lanes per existing agreement.
	An increase in the district contribution to insurance coverage to $319.98. This is the first time in many years there will be not decrease in the benefits provided by the health plans.
	Dental coverage of $33.16.
	Teachers: - Recall Rights - New language that provides for recall rights of one year in the event of a reduction in force. - Involuntary transfers: New Language that provides how teachers are selected for involuntary transfers.
	ESP:

- Classified Advisory Committee - ability to establish at the work site level to address problems. Modeled after the Teacher's Advisory Committee.

- Probationary Period - The negotiations teams will meet to discuss any recommendations made after the pilot program is completed.
