October 6, 2009 AR Meeting

Know Your Contract: ???       Please see Know Your Contract tab.

Negotiations - Tentative Agreements for both teachers and ESP where given to AR's.  Meetings will be held on Wednesday and voting will be on Thursday and Friday, October 8 and 9th.  Votes must be called in to the WEA office by 4:00 on Friday, October 9th.

FSCP - 2nd Conversation - September 26th, 2009 --- Turn out was smaller than hoped for but the conversation was rich.  Student joined the group and give good information and input.

80% Membership in every building

Board Liaison Flyer were handed out to each AR.  They will be posted on the WEA Bulletin Board.

80% Membership in every building

WEA would like to be at 80% this year, and several sites have already obtained that milestone.     Please congratulate these sites that are above 80%

Check with your AR's to find out how many members you need to obtain the 80% mark.  WEA is at 76% as of October 7, 2009

WEA has 778 members as of October 7, 2009, but we still have a lot of potential members to contact and encourage to join.   One on One relationships are the best promotional tools, so get out there and invite a non-member to join.
